ELIGIBILITY

Candidates with a degree in Engineering or Architecture, from a recognized institution are eligible. Students seeking admission require securing over 50% marks at graduation level. Final year students can also apply.


ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Selection of students is done by the Selection Committee. Admissions work is handled centrally at Pune. Those interested in admission to the programme have to submit applications on the prescribed forms to the Head Admissions, NICMAR Pune, along with the required documents mentioned in the application form within the specified date. All enclosures must be submitted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

All applications for admission are scrutinized and eligibility established on the basis of documents submitted.

All eligible candidates are invited to undergo the selection procedure, which comprises the following:

i. Written Test
      a) Data interpretation
      b) Quantitative and Analytical Ability
      c) English Language
      d) General Knowledge 
          OR Candidate may submit his / her valid CAT/GATE/ GMAT scores secured after January 1, 
          2010.
ii. Group Discussion (GD)
iii. Personal Interview (PI)
iv. Rating of Applications (RA)


The common pool Merit List is drawn on the basis of performance in written test / score, GD, PI and Rating of Applications (RA). All competing candidates appear in the Merit List in the order of their respective merit. Admission letters are issued in the serial order of the Merit List.

Candidate's preference of a campus as well as programme will be considered, but the allotment will be done at the sole discretion of the Admissions Committee / Department. Candidates should appear for the selection procedure on the given dates. They have to make their own travel and living arrangements during selection process.

 
ADMISSION UNDER SPONSORED CATEGORY

The institute has the policy of admitting a limited number of students under sponsored category, not exceeding 5% of the total students admitted.

Candidates to be considered for admission under sponsored category must fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Satisfy all the eligibility criteria for admission to the respective two-year full time Post Graduate Programmes of the institute as announced in the admission advertisement.
  2. Must have appeared for the admission process of the institute including Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. 
  3. On selection should be willing to pay tuition fee, which will be 50% higher than the regular tuition fee for the respective programme.
  4. Must be willing to forego the on campus placement assistance both for summer as well as final placement.
  5. Produce an undertaking, duly signed by the sponsoring individual / organization as provided in Part III of the application form.
