PLACEMENTS AT NICMAR
2008-2010

NICMAR proudly announces yet another successful placement year. A total of 401 students, from both PGP ACM and PGP PEM and from all the three campuses, Pune, Hyderabad and Goa have been placed in a week’s time.

This year, despite the fact that the project industry overseas is still in the recovery phase, 21% of the students have secured overseas placements, within the salary range of 6.34 Lakhs – 15.00 Lakhs per annum (average package offered being Rs. 8.42 Lakhs p.a), with the participation of 10 Companies.

With an increased interest amongst the students to be part of the domestic development, around 76 Companies showed interest in recruiting NICMARians. However, only 54 companies could be accommodated in the campus recruitment till date, since the number of domestic opportunities far exceeded the students available. The domestic package ranged from 4.25 Lakhs – 7.50 Lakhs per annum (including accommodation, incentives and other perks).

The companies visiting NICMAR for recruitments were form a wide range of businesses. Apart form the regular construction contractors, NICMAR saw its acceptance with a variety of Project based companies operating in the field of Oil and Gas, Power, material handling, process industries, Telecom, Airports, building automation, etc. Also, many of the consulting organizations both in the Real and Infrastructure domain recruited NICMARians. A large number of client organizations, ranging from manufacturing to IT, also showed keen interest in making NICMARians a part of their growth.
