Dr. Rajni Kant Rajhans is an associate professor at NICMAR Business School. He teaches Financial Management, Project Appraisal, Project Finance, Risk Management, and Valuation related courses. He was awarded Teaching Excellence Award at NICMAR in 2019. Dr. Rajhans’s research interests are in Corporate Finance, Valuation, and Green Finance. He is on the editorial advisory board of the Emerging Market Case Studies, Emerald Publication.

Prof. Bageshree Yeolekar-Kadam is an accomplished Architect and Planner with 16+ years of experience in Architecture, Planning, and Real Estate. She holds a Master’s Degree in Planning, specializing in Environmental Planning from CEPT University.  Her research interests include Sustainable Habitats, Urban Renewal, Green Buildings, and is pursuing her Ph.D. concurrently. She holds the prestigious Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners India (ITPI) and is a Registered with the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi.

Dr. Dhaarna is an architect-planner and completed her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. She was awarded the GATE, MHRD, and Newton-Bhabha Scholarship. She was a Visiting Scholar at the University of the West of England, Bristol. She completed her Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad, and Bachelor of Architecture from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She possesses professional experience in the disciplines of project planning, community mobilisation, rural development, urban and regional planning, municipal governance, and policy planning at the national, regional, and local levels. She teaches courses in Urban Planning, Architecture, Project Management, and Real Estate. Her research encompasses topics like water-energy-food nexus, urban and regional planning, policy planning, systems approach, rural development, GIS, sustainable development, WASH, and municipal governance.

Dr.Komal Handore holds a Bachelor’s degree in Planning from Government College of Engineering Pune and a postgraduate degree in Urban and Rural Planning from IIT Roorkee.
She completed her Doctoral degree from IIT Roorkee as well. Dr. Handore specialises in the areas of Urban Planning, Planning Techniques, Smart Cities, Inclusive Cities, GIS and Remote Sensing.

She is an urban planning professional with a B.Arch from VNIT, Nagpur an M.Plan in Urban and Regional Planning from CEPT, Ahmedabad and a PhD from Pune University (COEP). She has been actively involved in academia, research, and consultancy since 2012. Her expertise lies in the landuse-transport-real estate continuum, infrastructure development, urban governance and GIS application for the same. Her ultimate goal is to enhance the Quality of Life in Indian cities through impactful initiatives.

Prof. Priyanka holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a postgraduate degree in City Planning from IIT Kharagpur, West Bengal. She possesses professional experience in the disciplines of Urban Planning and Architecture. She teaches courses in Urban Planning, Real Estate and Project Management. Her research encompasses Energy Planning for Urban Areas and Mega Cities.

Prof Ramakrishna Nallathiga holds undergraduate, post-graduate and research master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, Planning and Land Economy (UK).  He has fourteen years’ work experience in the areas of urban/ environmental planning, policy, governance reforms and management.  He teaches the courses that broadly fall in real estate, urban infrastructure, applied economics and planning. His current research interests are in urban infrastructure service delivery, urban finance/ governance, real estate/property markets and valuation.

Shruti is an architect-urban planner with diverse experience of working with industry, academic institutions, and non-profits both in USA and India. She holds a master’s degree in Urban Environmental Planning from Arizona State University, USA; a bachelor’s in architecture from Pune University; and currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Her research interests include Housing, Valuation, Urban Renewal, Local Area Planning, and Environmental Sustainability.

Dr. Pankaja Gunwant Bagul, Heading the School of architecture is an architect, urban designer, and planner with over 32 years of professional experience in private practice and 24 years in academia. Her expertise spans critical research, innovative sustainable technologies, computational design, digital fabrication, AI, and advanced construction.
She holds a Ph.D. in Digital Architecture from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and has received an Erasmus Fellowship for her doctoral studies at Politecnico di Milano, Milan. Her educational journey also includes a Master’s degree in Town Planning (COEP), Critical Architecture (UK), and Indology, along with specialized training in programming and parametric software.
She has received numerous accolades, including the IIA Award for Excellence in Academics and the prestigious Jijabai Award for Architectural Contribution to Society.
Dr. Bagul has held leadership positions and taught at prestigious institutions, nationally and internationally, while also contributing extensively to research through workshops and publications in reputable conferences and journals. As a principal architect, she has led diverse projects encompassing master planning, conservation, institutional, and commercial developments, showcasing her multidimensional expertise in the field.
Dr. Pankaja envisions to shape the future of architecture at NICMAR with a blend of academic rigor, innovative thinking, and practical experience.

Dr. Rahul Deshpande graduated with Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT Nagpur) and earned his Masters and Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Lowell USA. His areas of research interest are traffic engineering, transportation planning, urban mobility, project management and sustainable infrastructure development.
