From the desk of

Dean, School of Executive Education

Organizations today are looking for more than effective managers. They are looking for people with high maturity who can think, see, and plan. They want people who can create something that doesn’t exist, not just manage what already exists. They are looking for leaders, at every level. Therefore, the challenge in today’s leadership probably lies in the life and career transition, personality, work-life balance, vision, influence, strategy, confidence, and finally, the business.

To handle these complex challenges, today’s organizations are highly dependent upon training and development which focuses on changing or improving the knowledge, skills, and attitude of individuals. Training at SOEXE typically involves providing employees the much-needed knowledge and skills to do a particular task or job, though attitude change can also be attempted.
