NICMAR through time
Established as an autonomous, non-government, not-for-profit academic body, NICMAR was founded in September, 1983 as a Society and a Public Charitable Trust.

NICMAR University, Pune (UGC approved) takes pride in being a unique institution, founded by the leaders of the Construction industry with the sole purpose of upgrading skills and human capital in the sector. We realize the responsibility of transforming students into multi-disciplinary Techno Managers, for the Built Environment. Our highly accomplished faculty, facilitate creation of industry ready and environmentally responsible professionals through various programs, including industry internships, community service engagements and value-based courses. The curriculum design, delivery and assessment are based on the philosophy of outcome-based education. Ever since its inception, NICMAR has been creating a strong network of alumni across the globe in various senior management positions as well as in entrepreneurial roles.
Today we are proud to say that with a legacy of 40+ years in education and research, our 37000+ NICMARians, are making footprints not just in construction and allied industries but also in Banking, IT, Energy, Consulting and Management services.
