Dr. Avinash Purandare is B.E. (Industrial and Production Engineering), M.B.A. (Marketing), UGC -NET (Marketing), P.G.D.F.T. (International Business), M.I.E. Chartered Engineer, Ph.D. (Marketing). He is a Gold Medalist in International Business from Pune University.

His teaching expertise is in the areas of Marketing Management, International Business Management and Supply Chain Management. He teaches over 10 different subjects in these three areas. He has over 32 years of total experience.

Dipayan Roy is a faculty of NICMAR Business School and is currently the programme director of Integrated MBA. He is a Fellow of Indian Institute of Management Indore. His teaching expertise lies in the area of Finance, Statistics, Spreadsheet Modelling, Project Finance and Quantitative Finance. His research interests comprise areas of Financial Modelling, Business Methods, Quantitative Techniques, Analytics, Efficiency Analysis. He has published papers in Journals of Repute and has received awards for best research papers at various conferences.

Joined NICMAR in 1995. Currently working as Professor at NICMAR Business School. Was ranking Indian Construction, Construction Equipment and Material Manufacturing Companies from 2001 onwards. From 2003 till last year Construction World, a Magazine, was giving award for the top companies from the list. Was resource person for Infrastructure Awards given to construction projects by CNBC TV (Channel E18) which was conducted on March 25, 2009 (for 2009) and March 18, 2010 (for 2010). Authored 3 books and several research papers. He is a member of consultants of Asian Development Bank, Manila.

Dr. Pallavi Nimbalwar is an academician with a background in Communication and soft skills training. She has a PhD in English Literature and an M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from Department of English, SP University, Gujarat. Also, she holds a certification in Digital Marketing and Communications from Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad.

Her interest areas are Ecofeminism, Translation Studies; Equity and Inclusion; Computational Linguistics and Attention Computing. Her Research work is led through Deconstruction and Postcolonial theories that she uses as lenses while operationalizing her research. Business Communication; Managerial Communication; Technical Writing; Written and Analytical Communication; Literature and Management Communication; Professional Ethics are some of the courses that she engages.

Dr. Soumi Rai is an MBA (HR) with a Doctorate in Management from Symbiosis International University. She has 23 years of professional experience in corporate and academia, in the domains of HR consulting and People management. She is a researcher in the field of leadership, gender, generation and cross-cultural issues. Dr. Rai has worked on prestigious assignments, including with Social Research Centre (WZB) Germany and University of Ljubljana, and her research work has been published across reputed publications.

A gold medalist at the undergraduate level, Dr Vandana Bhavsar holds a postgraduate degree in Economics with a specialization in econometrics. She acquired her Ph.D. in Economics in 2009. Her research involves works on gender budgeting, public expenditure, economic issues in construction, housing prices, and digitalization in construction. She has published her research articles in various ABDC/Scopus-indexed journals. Her contribution to the field of teaching was recognized with Excellence in Teaching Award in 2015.

Dr. Vikas Prasad holds a Doctoral degree in ERP, MPhil (CS) and dual Master’s Degree in Computer Applications and Operations Management. As a practitioner academician he has worked as SAP techno-functional consultant on more than dozen ERP projects and has worked for academic institutions of international and national repute. His area of interests includes ERP, Data analytics, Machine Learning, Power BI, Tableau, Project Management Software and Construction digitalization.

Dr. Sameer Jain has a diverse educational background, having completed his B.E in Information Technology from Nagpur University and a Post Graduate degree in Embedded Systems from Jaypee University in Noida, followed by a Post Graduate degree in IT Systems from All India Management Association in New Delhi. He further enhanced his knowledge with a Post Graduate degree in IPRM Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies University in Mumbai and an Advanced Certificate in Software Engineering from IIT Madras. Prof. Jain specializes in teaching various subjects such as Information Systems, Analytics and Machine Learning, Data Visualization, Project Management Software, and Industry 4.0 technologies. His expertise is recognized in both academia and industry.
Prof. Jain has an impressive professional history, having served in esteemed institutions such as Delhi Transco Ltd., a government organization under the Government of NCT of Delhi, and NMIMS University in Mumbai. Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Gold Medalist award and a Special Recognition Award from the Confederation of Indian Industry. He has also been honored with a Excellence in Teaching, National Service Award and a Certificate of Appreciation by ASSOCHAM in New Delhi for his contributions to Digital Distinction: Technology Conformance to NEP.
With a passion for research, Dr. Jain has published over 50 papers in various national and international journals/conferences, earning him significant recognition in the academic community. He has also demonstrated his expertise by reviewing numerous Journals papers and being awarded certificates of Excellence for his insightful evaluations. Prof. Jain actively engages in various roles and responsibilities within his field, including being a coordinator for MDPs (Management Development Programs), Thesis Coordinator, Seminar Coordinator, and actively participating as an organizing member in international conferences. Additionally, he acts as an NICMAR University Coordinator for External Industry Collaboration, fostering collaboration between academia and industry.

Dr. Roshan Raju is an academician in the area of Operations Management. He has completed his Ph.D. degree from the National Insurance Academy, Pune in the area of Tourism. His research interest is focused on process optimization, digital transformation, tourism, entrepreneurial ventures, and sustainability.  He has taught courses like Operations management, Lean management, Six sigma, Supply chain management, Inventory management, Operations research, Theory of constraints and Statistics.

Dr. Harish Singla holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Masters in Business Administration (Finance). Having spent more than 22 years in academia and he has served in various prestigious institutes in the past. His core teaching interest lies in Accounting and Finance. He has published more 25 research papers in ABDC and Scopus Indexed journals.  His current research interest lies in dealing with behaviour issues in investing and finance, management of intellectual capital and intangible resources and various behavioral issues in construction management.

Dr. Ravi has done his Master’s and PhD in Biotechnology and MBA in Entrepreneurship & New Venture Development from Shivaji University. He also completed Executive Program in Business Management from IIM Calcutta. He is a certified organization change management consultant from APMG group UK and an accredited trainer by Project Management Institute USA and PeopleCert UK to teach courses in the areas of Agile, Project and Portfolio management. Dr. Ravi has total 23 years of experience. He spent first 11 year in industry and later 10 years running a business by the name of Inbiosys Consulting Pvt Ltd. He has consulted companies like Philips, Qatar Development Bank, North Oil Company & Zensar to support large scale business transformation projects. Dr. Ravi was part of the South India Panel appointed by Life Science Sector Skill Development Council, Govt of India to support development of industry relevant courses. Dr. Ravi is known for his work in promoting modern project management practices in life science industry. He developed a course “Effective Project Management Practices for Life Science Industry” and conducted over 40 workshops. The alumni of his course today holds leadership positions in various companies. Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Ravi assumed role of Vice President – Project Management at Aragen Life Sciences Hyderabad. In the past he worked with organizations like Serum Institute of India, Biocon, Synegne and Beckman Coulter. Dr. Ravi’s academic interest lies in the areas of entrepreneurship development and strategic management. Currently he is teaching courses to NBS students in the same area.
Dr. Ravi holds a graduate degree (Visharad) in TABLA & actively participates in music concerts in his free time.

Dr. Amruta Mandar Khedkar is an accomplished academician with over eight years of experience in the field of Management, She holds a PhD in Business Management from Nagpur University. She specializes in Enterprise Performance Management, Business Analytics (R, Python, Data Mining), Artificial Intelligence, Digital Business, Business Research Methods, and Entrepreneurship Development. In addition to her teaching and research, she serves as the Convener of the Institution Innovation Cell, where she leads initiatives that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry engagement. She has successfully arranged and facilitated a variety of activities, including industry field visits, expert sessions, seminars, and hands-on workshops, aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application.
