Brief Introduction:

Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs) Cell at NICMAR University, Pune has been established in line with the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines to ensure equitable access, inclusion, and support for students from diverse backgrounds. The Cell is committed to safeguarding the rights, dignity, safety, and academic progress of students belonging to disadvantaged sections, while also creating an enabling environment that nurtures equal opportunities in higher education. Through initiatives such as earn-while-learn schemes, mentoring, and grievance redressal, the SEDGs Cell strives to empower students, promote inclusive growth, and uphold the values of equity and social justice within the University.
