Dr. Dinesh Aswar is doctorate in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering. He is a dedicated academician and researcher with over 20 years of experience. His research areas including RS and GIS Applications, Geotechnical and Transportation Engineering. He has over 25 publications in national and international journals and conferences. Driven by a profound commitment to academic excellence, he is passionate about teaching and is dedicated to enhancing the learning experiences of students.
With a doctoral degree in Civil Engineering, Shashank B S is an IGBC-accredited faculty committed to academic and professional excellence. With over a decade of teaching, research, and administration experience. He specializes in Concrete Technology. His research interests include self-healing concrete, concrete technology advancements, and alternative building materials. His research has been published journals / conferences of repute. He has coordinated multiple programs, workshops, established labs, & led accreditation activities.
A seasoned professional with a diverse background, she is an
academician, consultant, and researcher in Civil Engineering with
over 22 years of professional experience. She holds a doctorate in
Civil Engineering, specializing in Lean and Sustainable
Construction. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil
Engineering, a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, and a
Postgraduate Diploma in Operations Management.
Her extensive experience spans teaching, industry, and consulting.
Throughout her academic career, she has been actively involved in
training, assessment, and evaluation at both undergraduate and
postgraduate levels. Her areas of interest include Sustainability
assessment, Lean and sustainability integration, Green building,
Process improvement, and Quality management.
She is passionate about aligning education with the evolving needs
of the industry and is eager to contribute to the collaboration
between academia and industry.
Dr. Mohammed Rihan Maaze is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Civil Engineering. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur in Structural Engineering.
His research interests includes the valorisation of construction and demolition waste, geopolymer concrete, the design and development of bricks, life cycle assessment and sustainability, non-linear analysis of structures, and structural health monitoring.
He has taught courses such as Strength of Materials, Structural Analysis, Design of RC Structures, Design of Steel Structures, Earthquake Engineering, and Concrete Technology.
Dr. Dyana Joseline is a passionate academic and researcher in the field of Civil Engineering. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, with her doctoral research focusing on Electrochemical and chloride-induced corrosion parameters for service-life design and assessment of prestressed concrete. Her teaching portfolio includes Structural Analysis II, Research Methodology, and Engineering Graphics. Her academic interests span Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Constructed Facilities and Durability-based Design of Structures. Dr. Dyana Joseline’s current research focuses on durability, corrosion of reinforcement and service life, built asset management, and addressing contractual bottlenecks in the application of new materials in construction practice. Dr. Joseline has joined the School of Engineering as Assistant Professor.
Dr. Ramala Rakesh Kumar Reddy is a distinguished academic and researcher in Civil Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal. After submitting his Ph.D. thesis, he continued his research at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, as a Research Fellow.
His research focuses on low-carbon binders, One-Part Alkali-activated Concrete, and the processing of construction and demolition waste.
He has taught courses including Strength of Materials, Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures, Design of Steel Structures, Structural Dynamics, and Concrete Technology.
Dr. Reddy has joined us as Assistant Professor in School of Engineering.
Dr. Vijendra Kumar is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Civil Engineering, specializing in Water Resources Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Water Resources Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, India. Dr. Kumar has taught a wide range of subjects including Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Design of Hydraulic Structures, Environmental Engineering, AI ML application in Civil Engineering, IOT Application in Civil Engineering and MATLAB Programming for Civil Engineering Applications. His research expertise spans flood risk assessment and management, real-time flood forecasting, evolutionary algorithms computation, multi-objective optimization, swarm intelligence, simulation, remote sensing applications, and AI/ML-driven applications.
Dr. Kumar has joined us as Assistant Professor in School of Engineering.
Dr. S. Senthamizh Sankar holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction Engineering and Management from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur. His doctoral research, titled “The Influence of Safety Leadership on Safety Performance through Safety Climate in the Indian Construction Industry”. He has also undertaken post-doctoral research at IIT Madras, focusing on occupational health and safety in pre-cast construction and high-energy control assessment in construction environments.
His academic and teaching interests span Construction Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Leadership, Human Factors in Construction, Organizational Behaviour, Lean Construction, and People-centric approaches in the built environment. He has previously taught and assisted in courses related to construction safety management, Personnel management, Contract laws & regulations, leadership, and research methodology at SRM Institute of Science land Technology and Manipal Law School.
Dr. S. Senthamizh Sankar’s current research work is centred on advancing safety leadership frameworks, improving safety climate assessment, psychosocial risk evaluation, energy-based hazard identification and control measures, and integrating AI and IoT-based solutions for construction safety. His broader research vision is to enhance the physical and mental well-being of construction personnel while promoting sustainable and resilient construction practices.

Dr. Aniket V. Dahasahastra is an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering at the School of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur. His research focuses on the bio-recovery of valuable resources and their reuse in water and wastewater treatment systems, with a strong emphasis on circular economy approaches in environmental engineering
Dr. Dahasahastra has taught a range of core environmental engineering subjects, including: Water Supply Engineering, Wastewater Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Hazardous and Solid Waste Management.
