Dr. Rajni Kant Rajhans is an associate professor at NICMAR Business School. He teaches Financial Management, Project Appraisal, Project Finance, Risk Management, and Valuation related courses. He was awarded Teaching Excellence Award at NICMAR in 2019. Dr. Rajhans’s research interests are in Corporate Finance, Valuation, and Green Finance. He is on the editorial advisory board of the Emerging Market Case Studies, Emerald Publication.

Mehta School of Management (SJM SOM), IIT Bombay. He has successfully completed one year of post-doctoral experience from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay and are also published research papers in international and national journals. He has also published cases in Case Centre, UK (earlier ECCH) and presented research papers in various international conferences in India and abroad. His research interests include, Environment Management, Disaster Management, Remote Sensing, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He has won the Best-Case Award under the student track category in the International Case Conference organized by Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi on January 4, 2020.

Dr. Rahul Deshpande graduated with Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT Nagpur) and earned his Masters and Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Lowell USA. His areas of research interest are traffic engineering, transportation planning, urban mobility, project management and sustainable infrastructure development.

Dr.J.S.SUDARSAN is a Chartered Civil/Environmental Engineering professional with Doctorate in Environmental Engineering, Masters in Environmental Engineering, Bachelors in Civil Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma In Industrial Safety focused on Sustainability, Disaster Management, Nature based wastewater treatment and Climate Change. Experienced in research with a demonstrated history of working in Reputed Universities (Top 50 in NIRF ranking) contributed towards Teaching, Research and Training for more than two decades. Dr. Nilesh Patil is an academician with two decades of teaching and research experience in the field of Construction Technology and Management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a postgraduate degree in Construction and Management from COE Pune, and a doctorate in Civil Engineering from IIT Guwahati. His core competencies are in the areas of PPPs in Infrastructure Development, Value Engineering, Sustainable Infrastructure, Quality Management, Project Scheduling, and Lean Construction.

Dr. Avinash Purandare is B.E. (Industrial and Production Engineering), M.B.A. (Marketing), UGC -NET (Marketing), P.G.D.F.T. (International Business), M.I.E. Chartered Engineer, Ph.D. (Marketing). He is a Gold Medalist in International Business from Pune University.

His teaching expertise is in the areas of Marketing Management, International Business Management and Supply Chain Management. He teaches over 10 different subjects in these three areas. He has over 32 years of total experience.

Dr. Soumi Rai is an MBA (HR) with a Doctorate in Management from Symbiosis International University. She has 23 years of professional experience in corporate and academia, in the domains of HR consulting and People management. She is a researcher in the field of leadership, gender, generation and cross-cultural issues. Dr. Rai has worked on prestigious assignments, including with Social Research Centre (WZB) Germany and University of Ljubljana, and her research work has been published across reputed publications.

Dr. Harish Singla holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Masters in Business Administration (Finance). Having spent more than 22 years in academia and he has served in various prestigious institutes in the past. His core teaching interest lies in Accounting and Finance. He has published more 25 research papers in ABDC and Scopus Indexed journals.  His current research interest lies in dealing with behaviour issues in investing and finance, management of intellectual capital and intangible resources and various behavioral issues in construction management.

I, Dr. Darshan A. Mahajan hold a bachelor’s degree in economics and Master degrees such as Master in Computer Management, Master in Business Studies, PGDBM from Savitribai Phule Pune University. I completed my doctoral degree from Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth in management. I have professional experience of 17+ years in Teaching, Training, Academic Administration. I teach courses in Information Technology. My research work includes Information Technology and Management area.

Dr. Vikas Prasad holds a Doctoral degree in ERP, MPhil (CS) and dual Master’s Degree in Computer Applications and Operations Management. As a practitioner academician he has worked as SAP techno-functional consultant on more than dozen ERP projects and has worked for academic institutions of international and national repute. His area of interests includes ERP, Data analytics, Machine Learning, Power BI, Tableau, Project Management Software and Construction digitalization.

A gold medalist at the undergraduate level, Dr Vandana Bhavsar holds a postgraduate degree in Economics with a specialization in econometrics. She acquired her Ph.D. in Economics in 2009. Her research involves works on gender budgeting, public expenditure, economic issues in construction, housing prices, and digitalization in construction. She has published her research articles in various ABDC/Scopus-indexed journals. Her contribution to the field of teaching was recognized with Excellence in Teaching Award in 2015.

Dr. Balon holds a PhD in Management Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, India, an M.E. in Industrial Engineering & Management from SGSITS Indore, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Barkatullah University in Bhopal, India. He has more than 12 years of experience in the business world, in academia, and in research. His areas of expertise in research and consulting include ways for increasing productivity as well as techniques for developing and managing suppliers, supply chains, green and sustainable SCM, and sustainable manufacturing. Numerous conferences, seminars, and other national and international programmes have been organised by him. Dr. ANAND PRAKASH holds a doctoral degree from Birla Institute of Technology (Mesra, Ranchi), a postgraduate degree with specialization in Marketing Management & Computer Management from Indira Institute of Management, Pune University, and a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from M.S.R.I.T., Bangalore University. He is engaged in post-graduate teaching, guidance to research scholars and undertakes projects in the fields of Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Digitalization.

Dr. Milind D. Jagtap, is a Senior Associate Professor at NICMAR University, Pune. Dr. Milind is B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, M. Tech. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, & Fellow of NITIE.  He teaches specialized courses such as Advances in Project management and Management of New product development to MBA students of Advanced Project Management. His research has been published in International Journal of Construction Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, & International Journal of Managing Projects in Business. He is the recipient of PMI India Emerging Research Scholar Award 2019 and Best research paper award 2016.

With a blend of industry and teaching experience, Dr. Avinash Bagul holds a Mechanical Engineering degree with MBA in Marketing Management, and Ph.D. in SCM from IIT Bombay. Dr. Devang Desai is a Mechanical Engineer from NIT, Surat and has postgraduate and doctorate degree in Marketing Management. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporates and academics. His teaching & research interest includes Marketing Management, Business Development & Project Marketing, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management.

Dr. K.T. Vigneswara Rao graduated from Acharya Nagarjuna University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a postgraduate degree in commerce. He also has a master’s degree from Pondicherry University in financial management. He is a fellow of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. His areas of expertise are project appraisal and control, financial and management accounting, and financial management in construction. His research interests include corporate cash holdings, panel data, and capital structure.

Dr. Jonardan Koner, Professor and Dean- Placement & Industry Relations, at NICMAR University, Pune; 28 years’ experience in research, teaching and academic administration; Ph.D. Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, UGC-NET (Economics), M.A. in Economics with specializations of Econometrics & Statistics, MBA (Finance); author/co-author / editor of 34 books; published 82 research papers, presented 89 research papers in conferences; done several research projects. Received NICMAR ‘Excellence in Research Award’ 2019 & 2018.

Dr Arjita Biswas is a doctorate in Civil Engineering. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering specialising in Construction & Management and is the Savitriba Phule Pune Univerity Topper for the same. She has a vast academic experience of 18 years at UG Engineering & PG Management level and 4 years of industrial experience. She teaches courses in Project Risk Management, Project Management, Inventory Management, Pavement Management, Quality Management and different Project Management Software. She is a Certified Risk Professional & has more than 25 publications in National/International journals & Conferences.

Dr. Hindavi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Walchand
College of Engineering, Sangli, a Postgraduate degree in Construction Technology and Management and a Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (NIT), Nagpur. She possesses professional experience in the disciplines of Building Information
modeling, Sustainable Construction Methods, and Materials. She teaches courses such as Building Information Modeling and Construction Methods and Technology. Her research encompasses the application of information modeling in the design and development of affordable housing, energy-efficient buildings, sustainable building materials, etc.

Dr. Yuvraj Dilip Patil has bachelor’s degree in Law and a postgraduate degree in Business Laws from Symbiosis Law School Pune. He has completed his Ph.D. in 2014 from Symbiosis International Deemed University under Law Discipline. He possesses 1 year of court experience and 13 years of teaching experience before joining NICMAR University Pune. 
He has participated and presented papers in Four State, Thirteen National & Six International Conferences. He has total 32 Research paper publications in his credit, out of which 12 research papers are published in UGC Care list journals and peer-reviewed journals.
He has secured awards in 2010 for Special Service Provided in German Bakery Blast, Pune (from Symbiosis Law School Pune and in 2013 “The most sincere, efficient and maximum output” on the occasion of teachers’ from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

Dr. Amit Hiray works as Dean, Student Welfare and Associate Professor at NICMAR University, Pune, India. He teaches Business Communication, Managerial Skills, Leadership, Construction Project Communications, Project Stakeholders and Communications Management, Communicative English and English Literature. Amol D Pawar holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a post graduate degree in Construction Management from GCOE Karad Maharashtra. He has done his PhD in Civil Engineering from MANIT Bhopal. He engages courses in Construction Technology and Materials, Construction safety. His research areas include Construction materials and safety in construction.

Prof. Amit Goel holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Civil Engineering from PEC, Chandigarh (CFTI), and Ph.D. (fulltime) in Civil Engineering (Transportation Systems: NDT&E) IIT Kanpur (CFTI). He has over 20 years of experience teaching at topmost NIRF ranked Universities of 6 states in India, including BITS PILANI and IIT Gandhinagar. He served as a visiting scientist at NTU Singapore (QS rank 11) and at BAM, Berlin, Germany. His research interests are in area of Road Asset Management Systems including the development of robotic condition evaluation systems.
He has been involved in many sponsored research and consultancy projects from Government and private sectors. He was the mentor and part of National winning team in BIM-Design competition and represented India at Autodesk University Conference, USA, 2013.

Dr Smitha Yadav has completed her BE (Civil) from Govt College of Engineering Goa, Masters from COEP Pune and PhD(Civil) from SPPU Pune. Her subject areas of interest are Estimation and Quantity Surveying, Tendering Bidding & Contracting, Contracts & Claims Management and Geotechnical Engineering. She has more than 35 research papers to her credit in various National and Internal Journals and Conferences in the areas of concrete, construction materials and contract management.

After graduating from civil engineering, Dr. Tenepalli Jai Sai completed post-graduation in structural engineering. He defended his PhD in civil engineering at VIT-Vellore, India. He is a passionate teaching professional with more than 12 years of teaching experience. His research interest includes utilizing industrial waste in civil engineering applications. He believes in diversifying research and expanding expertise on special concretes like Ultra-high-performance cement composites, geopolymer concrete, 3D Concrete Printing, Lime stone calcined clay cement (LC3).

He teaches course in Construction Methods and Technology, Construction Equipment Management and Construction Safety. Dr. Sachin Batra is an alumnus of NIT Warangal and MDI Gurgaon. He is a passionate researcher. He has written several research articles, case studies and conducted consulting assignments and MDPs with reputed organizations like Signature Global, Dnova Infracon, Bharti Airtel, Aircel, AON Hewitt, Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Galaxy Hotel, and HR Anexi. Dr. Sudhir Ambekar is an Associate Professor at the NICMAR Business School, NICMAR University, Pune, India. He is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. His research interests lie in the areas of Supply Chain Management, ICT Adoption, Sustainable Sourcing, Supply Chain Culture and Low Carbon Supply Chain. He has published his work in various scholarly peer-reviewed international journals. He teaches courses in operations management, and quantitative techniques.

Dr. Ashish Rastogi has earned his PhD in Management from Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. He has been awarded JRF by UGC. He has varied experience of over a decade in Banking and Academics. He teaches courses in the domain of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. His research interests include issues and challenges of early career professionals, burnout and related constructs, and intellectual capital.

Dr. Kirti Rajhans has overall twenty-four years of work experience including academics and industry. She has worked in various academic administration roles during her career. She teaches courses in the area of Project Communication Management, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Business Communication, Leadership and Managerial Skills. Her key areas of research expertise are- Project Communication Management, HRM in Construction, Leadership, Sustainability, Indian Ethos, Organizational Culture etc. She holds Ph.D. and has done post-graduation in Human Resource Management and English.

As I look to the future, I know that I want to develop sustainable solutions for infrastructure industry. The school of Construction at NICMAR university Pune places a large focus on Sustainability & Built Environment. That is one aspect that drew me to the university and excites me about being a part of the University.
I have a Doctorate in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Structural Engineering, and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering. My combined experience in the classroom and in research totals 8.5 years. Concrete Materials, Alternative Cementitious Materials, Industrial and Mining Waste Products, Sustainability, Estimation, Precast, and Prefab Structures are some of the areas of research that are of interest.

Dr. Arpita Mathur is a PhD from IIM Calcutta. She holds two Master’s degrees in Sociology and Criminology. She teaches course in Organizational Behaviour, Managerial Skills, Communication, Sociology, Psychology and Self-development. Her research interests include corruption research, gender studies, post-colonialism, sustainability.

Dr. Samanta holds a Bachelor’s and Post Graduate Degree in Commerce from Berhampur University, Odisha.  He is a Ph.D. in Commerce and D.Litt. in Business and Management. He possesses professional experience in the area of Finance, Accounting and Infrastructure Management. His research interest includes, Project Finance, Financial Markets and Institutions, JV and PPP and Family Business.  Dr. Samanta has published more than 60 research papers in various journals of repute.

Dr. Shobha Ramalingam graduated in Architecture from NIT Tiruchirappalli (formerly RECT) and subsequently earned an M.Tech in Building Technology and Construction Management and a PhD in Construction Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. During the initial years of her career, Dr.Ramalingam practiced as an architect and interior designer in India and abroad. After a short stint in the industry, she pursued academics. Dr. Ramalingam’s broad areas of teaching and research include: Sustainability, Green Construction, Energy Efficient Buildings, Lean Project Delivery, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Project Management. Dr. Ramalingam chaired the Indian Lean Construction Conference (ILCC) in 2019 and is currently serving as Associate Professor and Dean – School of Energy and Environment at NICMAR University, Pune.

Professor Gokhale holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, postgraduate degree in Foundation Engineering from Goa University and PhD degree from IIT Delhi. He possesses over 39 years of professional experience in the disciplines of Foundation Engineering, Port Engineering, Construction Technology and Structural Engineering. He teaches courses in Conventional and Pre-Engineered Structures, Construction Material and Technology, Ground Improvement and Foundation Engineering, Port Engineering and Construction.

Dr. Anil Kashyap is Founder President and Chancellor of NICMAR University Pune and Hyderabad. He has 30 years of experience in practice, academia and research – both in India and abroad. In his leadership roles, Dr Kashyap has
been Head of UWE Bristol School of Geography and Environmental Management, Deputy Head of Coventry University School of Energy, Environment and Construction, and Founding Professor and Director of RICS School of Real Estate before joining NICMAR as the Director General in September 2021.

His expertise includes Infrastructure development and finance, Urban Regeneration, and Real Estate Research. Dr Kashyap holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with distinction from NIT Kurukshetra, Masters in Urban Planning from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi and a Ph.D. from University of Ulster, United Kingdom.  Dr. Kashyap is an Alumnus of Harvard University with training in Higher Education Leadership and Change
