She achieved her Master’s degree MS-Architecture with specialization in Computer Applications with full University Grants Scholarship and Research Assistantship from University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA in 1998. She received her Doctorate in Architecture from CEPT University, Ahmedabad in 2015. She is a registered Architect with the Council of Architecture, India and Associate of the Indian Institute of Architects, Pune chapter. She is also IGBC Accredited Professional and GRIHA trainer.

Prof. N C Shivaprakash is a distinguished academician and researcher with over four decades of experience in Electronic and Analytical Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, and advanced materials. He holds a Ph.D. from Mysore University (1982), where he also completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
His pioneering work includes the development of high-pressure Differential Thermal Analyzers, cryocooler-based cryosorption pumps, OLEDs, and advanced magnetic sensors for electric vehicles. Many of these innovations have significant applications in space, defense, and fusion research, with support from premier agencies like DRDO, ISRO, DST, UGC, and CSIR.
Prof. N C Shivaprakash has authored over 170 research papers in reputed journals and is a Senior Member of IEEE (USA), and Fellow of IETE, IET, and the Instrument Society of India. He has served on numerous national committees (MoE, AICTE, NBA, NAAC, UGC), selection boards of IITs and NITs, and as a mentor and auditor for World Bank TEQIP projects.
His accolades include five Gold Medals for academic excellence and the Young Scientist Award (1983) from the Karnataka Association for Advancement of Science. He has delivered keynote addresses across the globe, including in the USA, Europe, and Asia.

Dr. Anil Agarwal is currently working as a Professor and Dean of Academics, at NICMAR University Pune. He has been working with NICMAR since 1999 and has twice been awarded the NICMAR ‘Teaching Excellence. He was instrumental in the institute development and played a key role in the formation of NICMAR University. He has designed, developed, and conducted Management Development Programs for construction corporations in the Construction Quality Management, and Project Management areas.

He is an active member of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for Construction Management Sectional Committee CED-29 for framing and updating IS codes, he is a member of BoS of a number of institutes. He has completed several sponsored research works and has published more than 50 papers/cases at National/ International conferences, seminars, journals and magazines.

Prof. Koshy Varghese a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering and the Kripalu Chair for Transformational Leadership at IIT Madras.
Prof. Varghese earned his Doctoral research degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992. He is internationally recognized for his research in automation and computer integrated project delivery as well as Lean Construction. Dr. Rahul Deshpande graduated with Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT Nagpur) and earned his Masters and Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Lowell USA. Dr. Abhijat Arun Abhyankar, M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry from Mumbai University, followed by M. Tech. in Environmental Science and Engineering (CESE), IIT Bombay and doctoral degree from Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJM SOM), IIT Bombay. He has successfully completed one year of post-doctoral experience from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay and are also published research papers in international and national journals. He has also published cases in Case Centre, UK (earlier ECCH) and presented research papers in various international conferences in India and abroad. His research interests include, Environment Management, Disaster Management, Remote Sensing, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Prashant Das, PhD is an associate professor of real estate in the finance & accounting area of IIM Ahmedabad. Beyond producing rigorous academic research published in leading global outlets, he is actively engaged with industry through advisory and consulting engagements. Earlier, he served in senior academic roles in Switzerland; and has worked in corporate roles in India and the US. Dr. Rahul V. Ralegaonkar is a professor of civil engineering at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur with keen interest in broad areas of Sustainable Construction Engineering. He has over 20 years of professional experience including teaching, research and consultancy of civil engineering projects & is also a certified sustainability practitioner for CSR activities. Apart from 6 research awards related to sustainable product design he is a recipient of Indo-US BHAVAN Fellowship, DST, New Delhi and honorary visiting professor post at Liverpool John Moores University, UK for the track 2019-2025. He has completed 8 R & D sponsored projects and a couple are ongoing of National and International repute. He has been awarded the technology incubation support under the Affordable Sustainable Housing Accelerator Program by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India. Seven technologies related to sustainable construction materials were granted patent, two designed software tools received copyright, over 170 publications were brought out at international and national level.

Prof. Ralegaonkar has authored two books and contributed over five chapters in international handbooks. He was Associate Dean for Training & Placement (2019-2020), Summer Internship Program Coordinator (2020-2021). Presently 9 doctoral candidates, over 60 master’s candidates and 15 graduating student groups have completed their projects under his supervision. More than 100 talks were delivered as an invited speaker on several management and engineering topics like energy management, energy economics, application of sustainable technologies in construction industry and disaster management, etc. at various national and international level interactive platforms.

As an organizing committee member including principal coordinator and secretary for workshops, training program and national conference more than 60 events were participated in by him. He has been lead editor for SCI Journals like buildings, energy, advances in civil engineering, etc. and is also actively involved with technical forums as an editorial board member and the reviewer for several journals and conferences at national and international level. He has also been awarded the Excellence in review award 2021 for the Journal Resources, Conservation & Recycling, Elsevier Journal. He is also a member of the Board of Studies for several deemed universities. Mr. Ajit Gulabchand is the Chairman of the Board of Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC). He served as Chairman & Managing Director of HCC for the past four decades till 2023. Past Alongside his responsibilities at HCC, Mr. Gulabchand has been a vocal advocate of sustainable development and is regarded as a spokesperson for India’s infrastructure sector in global forums. A regular participant at the World Economic Forum (WEF) for over two decades, Mr. Gulabchand was the first Asian to chair the Governor’s Steering Board of the Engineering & Construction Community at the WEF in Davos, 2011. He is a signatory member of Caring for Climate, United Nation’s action platform for business and a signatory member of WEF’s CEO Climate Leaders. He has also been a frequent invitee to ministerial business delegations from the Government of India to various countries aimed at attracting foreign investments into the Indian infrastructure sector.

Mr. Gulabchand is a strong supporter and patron of several technical institutions in India. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors of the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) and Chairman of the Administrative Council of the Walchand College of Engineering.

Dr. Gupchup obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in civil engineering from VJTI, University of Bombay in 1958 and Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees in civil engineering in 1959 and 1963 respectively, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US.

Dr. Gupchup was a professor at the Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (formerly known as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute) in Mumbai. He held the post of the Principal of VJTI from January 1983 to June 1992 and May 1995 to January 1997, post which, he retired after spending nearly three decades in the field of Technical Education. Dr. Gupchup was the Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai from June 1992 to May 1995. He was also the Chairman of the 'National Board of Accreditation' set up by the All India Council for Technical Education in India from July 2000 till June 2003.

Dr. Gupchup has been active in the field of Technical Education for over 35 years, and has provided leadership in this field in the State of Maharashtra. He has contributed to various aspects of the development of Technical Education at a national level through his association with the All India Council for Technical education and the University Grants Commission. He has authored numerous technical papers, and has also presented invited lectures at several universities in the US, including Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT), Northwestern University, Drexel University, Kansas State University, Texas State University, And Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville.

Dr. Tapash Kumar Ganguli is the Professor and Director General (Interim) at NICMAR. Dr. Ganguli is also the Director for Executive Education. Dr. Ganguli’s areas of expertise include Project Management, Materials & Logistics Management, Contract and Project Procurement and Business Planning and Strategy. He has 20 years of industrial experience in national and international projects. He has 23 years of academic experience in teaching, training, research and consultancy. He is a Board Member of Academic Advisory Group of Project Management Institute, India. He is the recipient of PMI South Asia “Distinguish Scholar Award 2021”.

Dr. Mundhra started his construction career at the age of 19 at various construction sites of Simplex. He was inducted in the Board of Simplex in 1969 and became Managing Director in 1987. Under his long leadership of over 50 years, Simplex today is one of the leading infrastructure companies in India having successful executed more than 3000 projects.

Dr. Mundhra has a professional association with some notable institutions such as Honarary Life Fellow of Instituion of Engineers (India); Fellow Member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, UK; The Indian Concrete Institute; Member of Board of Governors of Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) and also member of Builders Association of India (BAI). Dr. Mundhra had also been selected as the First and Founding Chairman of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

Besides Engineering & Construction, Dr. Mundhra's deep understanding of the Indian culture has prompted him to be associated with various social & cultural associations as well as academic institutions, such as President of 'Bharatiya Samskriti Samsad & Nagarik Swasthya Sangh', Kolkata; Principal Trustee in Bharatiya Vidya Mandir; Trustee of Pt. Dr. V.N. Gupchup is an eminent academician, and has been active in the field of Technical Education for over fifty years. He has provided significant leadership in the education sector in the State of Maharashtra. He was Pro-Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, and the Director of VJTI, Mumbai.

Dr. Gupchup also served as Chairman of the National Board of Accreditation set up by the Central Government and Chairman Western Regional Committee, of the All India Council for Technical Education. Mr. Abhijit Rajan was appointed as the Managing Director of Gammon India in 1991. He took over as the Chairman of the Company in 1996 and since then has been the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company. Mr. Jayanta Basu assumed the position of Managing Director of ITD Cementation India Ltd on 23rd April, 2019. A graduate in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science and Technology (formerly Bengal Engineering College), Calcutta University, he has over 36 years of hands on experience in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, and Contracts Management of Heavy Civil Engineering Projects. He started his career with the company as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1986 and rose through the ranks to take over the mantle of Chief Operating Officer of ITD Cementation in 2017.

With his knowledge, capability, and hard work, Mr. Reddy has contributed to India and emerging economies across sectors including Civil Infrastructure, Environment/Sustainability focused Infrastructure, Industrial Infrastructure, Housing and Entrepreneurship Development. Mr. Reddy was conferred with the “Engineer of the year – 2005” award by Institution of Engineers (India). He is also one of the Governing Body Members Construction Federation of India (CFI).

Mr. Reddy is committed to encouraging entrepreneurship among young minds of India by mentoring and supporting them financially in their business endeavors. He was elected to Rajya Sabha (the upper house of the Parliament of India) from Andhra Pradesh in 2020.

Mr. K. C. Jhanwar is a Chartered Accountant, and has been with the Aditya Birla Group since 1981.

In a career spanning 42 years with the group, Mr. Jhanwar has worked across finance, operations, and general management roles in the cement and chemical sectors. He has been a capable team builder and is known for his strong people skills.

Amitabh Mundhra is the Director of Simplex Infrastructures, where he is responsible for leading the operations. His responsibilities include project implementation, monitoring project progress and realization of company’s vision and mission. Amitabh holds a B.Sc. Engineering Degree from Kolkata University. Amitabh is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).

Dr. Ganapati D. Yadav is one of the topmost, highly prolific, and accomplished engineering-scientists in India. He is the National Science Chair of Govt. of India, which is a very prestigious national honour. He is Emeritus Professor of Eminence and is the former Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. He is internationally recognized with over 125 prestigious and rare awards as an academician, researcher and innovator, including his seminal contributions to education, research and innovation in Green Chemistry and Engineering, Catalysis, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Development of Clean and Green Technologies.

Dr. Yadav's patented work on the net zero goal, green hydrogen production technology, carbon dioxide refineries and valorization of (waste) biomass and waste plastics is internationally acclaimed. He serves as the Adjunct Professor at University of Saskatchewan, Canada; Conjoint Professor, University of New Castle, Australia; Distinguished Adjunct Professor, IIT Guwahati and SOA University Bhubaneswar. He was conferred Padma Shri by the President of India in 2016 for his outstanding contributions to Science and Engineering. He has also been recipient of two honorary doctorates and has addressed 6 convocations of renowned universities. He is elected to the fellowship of all Science and Engineering academies in India, TWAS, RSC (UK), IChemE (UK) among others. He was elected for two prestigious foreign academies: US National Academy of Engineering (which comprises only 23 living Indians), and as a Fellow of US National Academy of Inventors in 2022 (as the second Indian to be so honoured).

Dr. Yadav has been involved with many prestigious policy making committees of the Central government and has been a consultant to industries and industry associations. His research productivity is phenomenal with supervision of 107 Doctoral and 140 Masters' theses, which is a record for any Engineering Professor in India. Furthermore, he has supervised 48 post-doctoral fellows, several summer fellows, and research staff. He has published 515 original research papers, acquired 120 granted national and PCT patents, 8 new patent applications, written 3 books, h-index of 66, i10 index of 336, and 16,500+ citations. He is on the board of 6 listed companies as an independent director. He is also on the editorial boards of international journals of ACS, RSC, and Elsevier. Currently, he is the President of the Indian Chemical Society and the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Gupchup obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in civil engineering from VJTI, University of Bombay in 1958 and Master of Science and Doctor of Science degrees in civil engineering in 1959 and 1963 respectively, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US.

Dr. Gupchup was a professor at the Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (formerly known as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute) in Mumbai. He held the post of the Principal of VJTI from January 1983 to June 1992 and May 1995 to January 1997, post which, he retired after spending nearly three decades in the field of Technical Education. Dr. Gupchup was the Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai from June 1992 to May 1995. He was also the Chairman of the 'National Board of Accreditation' set up by the All India Council for Technical Education in India from July 2000 till June 2003.

Dr. Gupchup has been active in the field of Technical Education for over 35 years, and has provided leadership in this field in the State of Maharashtra. He has contributed to various aspects of the development of Technical Education at a national level through his association with the All India Council for Technical education and the University Grants Commission. He has authored numerous technical papers, and has also presented invited lectures at several universities in the US, including Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT), Northwestern University, Drexel University, Kansas State University, Texas State University, And Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville.

From 2014 until 30th June 2022, Mr. Subodh C. Dixit headed the Engineering & Construction division of Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Private Limited (apart from being Executive Director on its board). During this period, he oversaw the day-to-day management of the organization, including business development and strategic planning, encompassing all projects across Commercial, Institutional, Residential, Airports, Healthcare, and Sports. The organization is a pioneer in bringing top-down construction methodology to India, and has undertaken several initiatives to integrate technology in construction - viz. 3-D BIM Modelling, digital tools to track labour attendance and productivity, as well as robotics. Mr. Dixit continues to be associated with the SP Group as a board member.

Mr. Santosh Rai is the Operations Director and Chief Business Officer (CBO) at HCC Ltd. He has over 21 years of experience in the construction sector, with a core focus on business development, construction management, planning, and execution of infrastructure projects. He is a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kuvempu University, Karnataka. In addition, he holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Advance Construction Management from the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), Pune.

Mr. Jaiprakash Pravinchandra Shroff, owner of the Shroff Group, is a renowned professional in the construction industry. He holds a B.E. (Civil) 1st Class with Distinction & Gold Medal from the College of Engineering, Pune, and an M.B.A. and L.L.B. from I.L.S College Stood. He has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Glory of India Award, National Award for E Governance, and a cash award for outstanding contribution in bricklaying. He has also been a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, and a Lifetime Achievement Award for CSR Skilling Construction Workers at the India Property Awards 2023.

He has held various positions, including Chairman of IGBC Pune Chapter, Kushal – Credai Pune Metro, Managing Committee Member, appointed by Govt. of Maharashta on Committee for Fixation of Minimum Wages for Construction labours in the year 1991, Director on the Board of Paint & Coating Sector Skills Council of India, Trustee of Janaseva Foundation, and Chairman of Skill Committee of Credai National. He has presented a paper on International Symposium on Training of Technical Manpower and Skilled Workers in I. F. A .W. P. C. A. Countries at Seoul, Korea June 1997 and author of Book entitled Laws Applicable to Construction Industry for Credai Pune Metro.

Mr. Chavan has been in the education sector for the last 25 years, and is currently serving as a board member of renowned engineering colleges and skilling organisations. He is regional president of Mumbai region of Association of Managements of Engineering Colleges. He served as group COO and CEO of large educational organisations in Mumbai, Pune and in parts of Maharashtra. He also contributed to the Healthcare industry by turning around teaching hospitals. He is known for his expertise in governance and sustainability of educational institutions.

Dr. Metri is currently the Director of IIM Nagpur. Prior to that he was the Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli. He is serving on various committees of Higher Education in India.

Mr. M V Satish, shortly called MVS, is a Whole-time Director and Senior Executive Vice President (Buildings), Larsen & Toubro. He is responsible for the Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical within L&T Construction.

Having started his career in L&T as Junior Engineer, with a degree in Civil engineering from Bangalore University, Mr. Satish has completed a Senior Executive Program from London Business School. He has held various portfolios like the Regional Project Manager – Bengaluru, Chief Executive – L&T Oman LLC, Head – Commercial Buildings & Airports SBG, and Head – Buildings & Factories IC.

Mr. Satish's experience is rich and varied, courtesy his work across domains like Construction, Business Development, Contracts Management, and Property Development. With passion backed by talent, he has steadily risen the ranks, and under his watch, he has led several landmark projects to successful completion including the Chhatrapati Shivaji international Airport Mumbai, IGI Airport New Delhi, Mumbai Wankhede Stadium, and the Mahatma Mandir, among others. He has spearheaded the growth strategy for the Commercial and Residential Buildings Businesses, and has been instrumental in bagging several mega orders to build IT parks, multi-specialty hospitals, high-rise residential projects, and successfully executed the world’s tallest statue – The Statue of Unity at 182m of height in the state of Gujarat in a record 33 months. Under his leadership, B&F constructed the world's largest cricket stadium in Gujarat with 1.3 lac seats, and the world's largest fully seated hockey stadium in Odisha with over 20,000 seats.

Mr. Satish has played a vital role in establishing L&T’s credentials in the GCC region, especially Oman, having served as Chief Executive of L&T Oman LLC. He is credited for having successfully executed the Bait Al Barakah Royal Palace @ Muscat, Duqm Airport @ Oman, Salalah Greenfield Airport project, and the NMC Hospital in Abu Dhabi. Under his leadership, B&F has executed a world class FIFA stadium, the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium at Al Rayyan, Qatar. This is one of the stadiums which was used for FIFA 2022, and has over 40,000 seats.

Mr. Satish drives L&T’s expertise of ‘Design and Build’ construction solutions on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) turnkey basis, and is a pioneer in adopting latest construction technologies. Under his leadership, B&F IC created the first ever G+1 building using 3D printing with reinforcement and using local materials at Kanchipuram. He has created the B&F fast business, which aims to radically change the way we construct buildings. This business has constructed a complex for a prestigious client in a record 45 days.

A firm believer in safety, Mr. Satish spearheads the implementation of the latest construction practices at project sites across India and GCC, and as the organization embraces digitalization in its myriad manifestations, Mr. Satish is leading the charge by driving greater espousal of digitalization across his various spheres of operation with extremely encouraging results.

Mr. Satish has held and continues to play vital roles in various industry bodies, construction institutions, and councils.

 Prof. Raosaheb K. Kale is a renowned educationist who served as the Founding Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the Central University of Gujarat (CUG). With 40 years at Jawaharlal Lal Nehru University (JNU), he taught at the School of Life Sciences  and made significant contributions in the areas of Cancer and Radiation Research. Alongside, Prof. Kale also served in various capacities such as the Dean, School of Life Sciences, Chief Proctor and Dean of Students. In addition, he has served as Member/Chairperson of the Committees of the statutory bodies of the Central Government.

Retired professor of IIM Ahmedabad. Currently the distinguished professor at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information & Technology. Taught and visited at universities in US, Canada, Sweden, UK and Singapore.

Dr. Tapash Kumar Ganguli is the Professor and Director General (Interim) at NICMAR. Dr. Ganguli is also the Director for Executive Education. Dr. Ganguli’s areas of expertise include Project Management, Materials & Logistics Management, Contract and Project Procurement and Business Planning and Strategy. He has 20 years of industrial experience in national and international projects. He has 23 years of academic experience in teaching, training, research and consultancy. He is a Board Member of Academic Advisory Group of Project Management Institute, India. He is the recipient of PMI South Asia “Distinguish Scholar Award 2021”.

Dr. Koner is a Professor and Dean of Career Services, International Affairs and Alumni Relations (CSIAARs) at NICMAR University, Pune; 30 years’ experience in Academic Administration, Research and Post Graduate Teaching; Ph.D. in Economics (Jadavpur University, Kolkata), UGC-NET (Economics; Dec. 1999), M.A. in Economics with specializations of Econometrics & Statistics, MBA (Finance); author/co-author / editor of 34 books; published 96 research papers in Journals/edited volumes, presented 105 research papers in conferences in India and abroad; registered 29 cases / technical notes; reviewed more than 250 research papers; completed several research projects and received NICMAR ‘Excellence in Research Award 2019 & 2018. Best Paper Award, for ‘Impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on the Growth of the Indian Economy’ presented in ‘International Management Research Conference’ on 23rd & 24th February 2018, Organized by University of Mumbai, Mumbai, India and also Best Paper Award, for ‘Development Banks and Industrial Growth in Indian States: An Empirical Study’, presented in ‘International Conference (Global Business & Finance Conference’, 10th and 11th February 2012, organized by IMT, Nagpur.

Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Goyal graduated in Civil Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra (earlier RECK) in year 1998 and PhD in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee in year 2007. Dr. Goyal is Gold Medalist in M.Tech. (Structures) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

His main area of research is High rise construction, construction management, new construction material and wind/Tornado effects on structures. He did research in Germany, Japan and Czech Republic as Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) under prestigious DAAD fellowship of Germany, MEXT Fellowship of Japan and Academy of Sciences fellowship of Czech Republic. Presently he is a collaborative researcher at Wind Engineering Research Centre, Tokyo Polytechnic University, Japan. He is also a visiting faculty of Selinus University, Italy.

Dr. Goyal is having long experience in academics, research and administration at National and International Institutes & Universities. He has travelled widely across many countries for various research and academic activities. He is having more than 50 research papers in his credit published in national and international conferences/Journals. Dr. Goyal is editor of NICMAR-Journal of construction management. Also, he is a founding member of Board of Management of NICMAR University, Pune. Presently he is serving as Professor in School of Construction, Dean-NICMAR Doctoral School and Dean of Infrastructure & Planning at NICMAR University, Pune.

Dr. Rahul Deshpande graduated with Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT Nagpur) and earned his Masters and Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Lowell USA. He has taught courses at undergraduate as well as postgraduate level at UMass Lowell as an adjunct faculty. His areas of research interest are traffic engineering, transportation planning, urban mobility, project management and infrastructure development. 

His vital contribution towards the Quality Council of India project of developing an Indian Infrastructure Book of Knowledge (InBoK) is widely acknowledged. His industry experience as Engineer-Projects at HPCL Mumbai Refinery precedes his illustrious academic career with several national and international publications. He is currently serving as the Dean of School of Planning, Real Estate and Infrastructure at NICMAR University, Pune.

Dr. Sushma Kulkarni is the Vice Chancellor of NICMAR University, Pune, and currently serves as the immediate past Chair of the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC), a U.S. based global forum dedicated to advancing the quality of engineering education.

She was formerly the Director at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Sangli, Maharashtra, for over 16 years.

With 38 years of experience in teaching and research in civil engineering, her expertise spans concrete technology, Total Quality Management (TQM), construction management, watershed management, engineering education, academic leadership and women’s empowerment.

Dr. Kulkarni has received more than 35 prestigious national and international awards for her outstanding contributions to academia and administration. Notably, she was conferred the Duncan Fraser Global Award by the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies in 2019, recognizing her excellence in engineering education.

Her scholarly contributions include over 155 research papers and two provisional patents. She has delivered more than 150 expert keynote lectures worldwide. Under her mentorship, five Ph.D. scholars have successfully completed their doctorates, seven are currently pursuing, and over 70 undergraduate and postgraduate students have undertaken research projects.

In addition to her academic and research achievements, Dr. Kulkarni actively engages with several professional organizations, including the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Indo-Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) Foundation. She also serves as Editor of the Journal of Engineering Education Transformations (JEET), a Scopus-indexed, UGC-CARE II recognized, Q2-ranked international journal and managing editor of the Journal of Real Estate, Construction & Management, published by Sage.
