  • The programme of study provides an in-depth understanding across the variety of domains in real estate such as project management, design and development, government regulations, real estate laws, finance, marketing, operations, technology, and engineering. Courses have been developed in collaboration with industry leaders, featuring guest lectures from industry professionals and academic leaders. The educational programme facilitates students to develop entrepreneurship skills and gaining employment with real estate developers, financial institutions, investors, architectural firms, brokerage businesses, asset management firms, valuation firms, and real estate advisory and consulting organizations.

The programme provides students with the fundamental knowledge, technical skills, and analytical abilities required for real estate investing, development, ownership, and management. It includes approaches that are multidisciplinary, comprehensive, and collaborative. The curriculum includes real estate theory and practice, as well as property management studies. The management studies also give the programme a strong business and project management perspective. The project work further strengthen the programme. Theoretical courses seek to deepen students' understanding of underlying concepts and linkages in a changing environment, whereas applied courses apply theoretical knowledge to contemporary issues and challenges.

Prof. Saurabh Jindal, Programme Director, PGP REDM

Prof. Saurabh Jindal, Assistant Professor at NICMAR Hyderabad, is a Real Estate, Urban Development Planning, and Land Policy expert. He is an architect-urban planner who graduated in Architecture from DCRUST Murthal in Haryana in 2009. He received his Post-Graduate degree in Urban and Rural Planning (MURP) in 2011 from IIT Roorkee, Uttarakhand, and is also pursuing his Ph.D. at IIT Roorkee. He has over twelve years of professional experience including seven years of academic experience in NICMAR and five years of industrial experience. He has experience working with the Delhi Development Authority as Assistant Director (Planning), Feedback Infra Private Limited, a leading infrastructure service headquartered in Gurugram, and the architectural firms Design Associates Inc. and Fountainhead Design Private Limited.

Admission and degree requirements

  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Planning / Commerce / Finance / Banking / Management / Economics / Mathematics / Statistics with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Institution/ University are eligible. Final year Graduating students can also apply.
  • Fresh Graduates awaiting final result declaration will be provisionally admitted after being shortlisted.
  • Admission criteria for PGP REDM includes a performance in Written Test (CAT/MAT/GAT/ NICMAR PG NCAT), GD & Personal Interview and Academic Performance in graduation, Class XII and Class X.
