About the dean

Dr. Srihari Vedartham

Dr. Srihari Vedartham graduated in Civil Engineering from Sri Venkateshwara University in 1991, post graduated in Environmental Engineering from Mysore University in 1996, and completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from SASTRA University in 2008. His main areas of research are Adsorption Studies, Pollution Control, Water and Wastewater treatment, Green Construction Technology, and Renewable Energy. Dr. Vedartham is the reviewer of various Elsevier Journals viz. Journal of Hazardous Materials, Journal of Desalination, Journal of Environmental Management. He is currently serving as Professor and Dean of School of Energy and Clean Technology and School of Engineering and Emerging Technology at NICMAR, Hyderabad.

Dr. Srihari Vedartham, currently serving as Professor and Dean of School of Energy and Clean Technology at NICMAR, Hyderabad has over 26 years of experience in academics as well as construction industry. Dr. Srihari Vedartham, currently serving as Professor and Dean of School of Energy and Clean Technology at NICMAR, Hyderabad has over 26 years of experience in academics as well as construction industry. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from SV University, Andhra Pradesh, Masters in Environmental Engineering from Mysore University by qualifying through GATE 94 and Ph D in Civil Engineering from SASTRA University, Thanjavur through a DST sponsored project. He has been involved in research projects sponsored by DST, and in University sponsored projects. He has published more than 50 research papers in national and international journals and also invited reviewer to many ELSVIER journals. He is a recipient of Teaching Excellence awards from NICMAR for the year 2012. Presently he is BOS member for various universities in Telangana

Prof. Vishnu Namboodiri V, an Assistant Professor at NICMAR, Hyderabad, with a strong background in energy systems. Prof. Vishnu Namboodiri V, an Assistant Professor at NICMAR, Hyderabad, with a strong background in energy systems. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at IIT Delhi in the area of renewable energy. His research expertise lies in optimizing energy systems for built environments and contributing to advancements in energy applications through comprehensive research.

Prof. Shyam Kumar Inturi currently working as Assistant Professor and holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University and a Post Graduate degree in gas engineering from university of petroleum and energy studies and pursuing Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Prof. Shyam Kumar Inturi currently working as Assistant Professor and holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University and a Post Graduate degree in gas engineering from university of petroleum and energy studies and pursuing Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He has a professional teaching career spanning 10 years and has also worked in oil and gas industry for 3 years His contributory areas in teaching, research and consultancy include petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, pipeline engineering and HSE Management. His research focus is on computational fluid dynamics of crude oil rheology, transport phenomena and CO2 sequestration and utilization

Dr. Koneru Hari Siva Sri Phanindra Assistant Professor, NICMAR University of Construction Studies, Hyderabad Dr. Koneru Hari Siva Sri Phanindra has over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry. Dr. Koneru Hari Siva Sri Phanindra Assistant Professor, NICMAR University of Construction Studies, Hyderabad Dr. Koneru Hari Siva Sri Phanindra has over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry. He holds a Ph.D. in Safety Engineering and an M.Tech in Industrial Safety Engineering from NIT Tiruchirappalli, and has completed an executive program in HRM from IIM Calcutta. Before joining NICMAR University of Construction Studies, he worked at Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, where he served as Assistant Professor and later as Associate Professor. He has 24 research publications in SCI and Scopus indexed journals and holds three granted patents in the areas of process safety, pyrotechnics, and engineering applications. He also has industry experience with Asian Paints, Linde India, and Larsen & Toubro, giving him strong practical exposure to HSE, industrial safety, and process risk management. He has served as Guest Faculty at Anna University and NIT Tiruchirappalli.
