    The first semester courses provide basic and fundamental knowledge in core areas such as energy overview, reforms, economics, hydrocarbon and alternative energy projects, and natural and energy resources.     The second-semester courses focus on providing an advanced level of knowledge in core areas such as financial and management accounting, environmental management, energy performance monitoring laboratory, statistics and data analytics for energy projects, advanced power and renewable energy systems, management of energy projects, managerial communications, MOOC course, and summer internship, etc. The eight/ten-week internship provides a better synergy between theory and practice. These courses help the learners to acquire knowledge in some of the advanced and latest technologies and practices in the energy sector.

    Our leader

    Prof. Vishnu Namboodiri V, Programme Director, MBA AEM

    Prof. Vishnu Namboodiri V joined the NICMAR, Hyderabad, India, as Assistant Professor in June 2018. His area of research interest is related to energy systems and their optimization for build environments. Prior to joining NICMAR, he has 4+ years of industrial experience in the energy field. In reference to his academic profile, currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in renewable energy at IIT Delhi. He pursued M Tech (Master's) in Energy Systems Analysis, and Design from Government Engineering College, Kozhikode, Kerala, India, in 2015 and also holds an undergraduate degree B. E (Bachelor's) in Mechanical Engineering, from SCAD CET (Anna University, Chennai, India) in 2012. He contributed numerous publications in international journals in materials for energy applications.

    Admission and Degree Requirements

    • - Candidates with a regular Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognised Institution / University are eligible to apply. Industry sponsored candidates with the above criteria are also eligible to apply. Candidates seeking admission are required to have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for the candidates from reserved category) at graduation. Final year eligible graduating students can also apply. However, such candidates must have completed (passed) their Graduation before the commencement of programme.
    • - In addition, performance in Written Test (CUET UG/ AIMA UGAT/ NICMAR UG NCAT), Personal Interview and Academic Performance in Class XII and Class X.
