Advanced Energy Management: Prepare yourself for a specially designed energy management programme, where you will be acquiring knowledge in the areas such as energy reforms, financing, planning, managing, and fundamental technological interventions in the energy sector with key attention on latest technologies.
The MBA AEM program comprises domain-specific courses on Energy Pricing and Trading, Management of Power Projects, Operations and Maintenance for Energy Projects, and many more courses to provide students with sufficient knowledge to serve in the energy domain.
A host of pedagogical approaches, such as case studies, lectures, group, and individual exercises, etc., enrich the program delivery. Site visits are organized as and when required. Every student will also have the chance to complete a project that is associated with the energy domain.
NICMAR University of Construction Studies (NUCS)
Duration: Two year full time
The first semester courses provide basic and fundamental knowledge in core areas such as energy overview, reforms, economics, hydrocarbon and alternative energy projects, and natural and energy resources. These courses lay a solid foundation for students on their path to mastery in the field of energy management.

These courses help the learners to acquire knowledge in some of the advanced and latest technologies and practices in the energy sector.

Prof. Vishnu Namboodiri V joined the NICMAR, Hyderabad, India, as Assistant Professor in June 2018. His area of research interest is related to energy systems and their optimization for build environments. Prior to joining NICMAR, he has 4+ years of industrial experience in the energy field. In reference to his academic profile, currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in renewable energy at IIT Delhi. He pursued M Tech (Master's) in Energy Systems Analysis, and Design from Government Engineering College, Kozhikode, Kerala, India, in 2015 and also holds an undergraduate degree B. E (Bachelor's) in Mechanical Engineering, from SCAD CET (Anna University, Chennai, India) in 2012. He contributed numerous publications in international journals in materials for energy applications.
