NICMAR University of Construction Studies, Hyderabad observed Earth Day 2026 under the theme “Our Power, Our Planet.” The event was held in the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. (Prof.) Shrikant Charhate, who addressed students and faculty on the importance of sustainability in the industry and everyday life. An expert session on “Climate Change & Business Sustainability” by Dr. Vijaya Pavuluri, Sustera Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the role of industries in driving sustainable change. A symbolic 1-Minute Earth Hour was also observed reinforcing the value of energy conservation and collective responsibility. The celebration included a plantation drive and an awareness booth with quiz competition organised by HSEM students.

SDP on “Fostering Personal and Professional Excellence”

NICMAR University of Construction Studies, Hyderabad successfully organised a three-day Staff Development Programme (SDP) titled “Fostering Personal and Professional Excellence” from 4–6 March 2026, led by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The programme focused on strengthening teamwork, communication, conflict management, interpersonal skills, and digital proficiency through hands-on MS Excel training. The Frontier Shift 2026

NICMAR University of Construction Studies, Hyderabad successfully hosted The Frontier Shift 2026 on 18th February 2026, a high-level industry–academia forum addressing the growing disruption gap in construction and infrastructure. Held under the esteemed patronage of Mr. Ajit Gulabchand (Hon’ble Chancellor & Chief Patron) and Prof. (Dr.) Shrikant Charhate (Hon’ble Vice Chancellor & Patron), and moderated by Sarbesh Mishra, PhD (Convenor), the forum convened leaders from KMV Projects Ltd., NCC Limited, My Home Group, Drishti Cost Consultants, and Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority. The dialogue centred on digital transformation, lifecycle-focused sustainability, and future-ready leadership, reinforcing NICMAR’s commitment to aligning academic excellence with evolving industry needs.

Cyber Security Awareness Day 2025

NICMAR University of Construction Studies, Hyderabad, in collaboration with Victoria University, Melbourne, has successfully concluded the India Cultural & Technical Tour on Climate-Smart Sustainable Infrastructures - a three-week international programme supported by the Australian Government under the New Colombo Plan (NCP).
The programme brought together students and faculty from both universities for academic exchange, industry engagement, sustainability learning, and rich cultural immersion - strengthening global partnerships and advancing climate-smart education in the built environment.
