Prof. (Dr.) R. Sathish Kumar
Prof. (Dr.) R. Sathish Kumar, currently serving as Professor and Dean Academics at NICMAR University of Construction Studies (NUCS), Hyderabad- Telangana has over 34 years of experience in academics as well as in construction industry. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala, Masters in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras and Ph D in Civil Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad, India. He has been involved in research projects sponsored by DST, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. He also worked in the construction industry specialized in the construction of rigs in Oil and Gas Industry. He has been a part of lot of consultancy works in the area of quality testing of construction materials, high performance concrete, high strength concrete, self-compacting concrete etc. He is also involved in Geo technical investigations of highways and runways and was a member of third-party investigation team for the quality management of pavements in Karnataka, India. He is the recipient of Teaching Excellence awards from NICMAR for the year 2013, 2017 and 2019 and Research Excellence award for the year 2019.

Prof. (Dr.) Shrikant Charhate is a distinguished academic leader and researcher with
over 37 years of experience in institution building, academics, and research. A
Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, he specializes in soft computing applications in water
resources, ocean studies, and construction management.
Prof. (Dr.) Shrikant Charhate is a distinguished academic leader and researcher with

He has served in senior academic and leadership positions including Professor, Dean,
Director, and Pro Vice-Chancellor at Amity University Mumbai, and was instrumental
in setting up BIT Ranchi’s international campus in Ras-Al-Khaimah, UAE.
Dr. Charhate has over 150 research publications, several patents, and notable
projects such as an AI-based traffic management system for India’s Bullet Train. His
contributions have earned him the Best Teacher Award (University of Mumbai, 2018),
Best Professor in Civil Engineering Award (ABP News National Education Awards,
2017), and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Construction Excellence Award (2011).
A passionate promoter of innovation and entrepreneurship, he has mentored start-ups,
led NEP implementation across 15 institutions, and continues to advance excellence
in education and research.

research projects as a principal investigator funded by the United Nations and the
Ministry of Education, Ethiopia.

his interest in teaching and research, he worked as a faculty with various

(Bhubaneswar) on Lean Implementation in Small real estate projects. Dr. Raja Sekhar

Construction Studies, Hyderabad, specializing in transportation systems, choice
modelling, and urban mobility analytics. He holds a Ph.D. in Transportation Systems
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, specializing in
behavioural modelling of road users.
Dr. Aaditya Bhamidipati is an Assistant Professor at NICMAR University of
Construction Studies, Hyderabad, specializing in transportation systems, choice
modelling, and urban mobility analytics. He holds a Ph.D. in Transportation Systems
Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, specializing in
behavioural modelling of road users.
Before joining academia, Dr. Aaditya served as a Senior Transport Analyst at Transit
Intelligence, contributing to large-scale World Bank projects involving public
transport network design, metro–bus integration, and e-bus market analysis across
Indian cities. His research interests span discrete and hybrid choice modelling,
psychometric analysis, and the application of AI/ML and graph theory in
transportation systems, and Civil Engineering.
Dr. Aaditya has authored eight international peer-reviewed publications in leading
journals and has accumulated over 220 citations to date. He has presented his work
at several prestigious conferences, including the International Choice Modelling
Conference (Iceland, 2022) and Urban Mobility India (2023). His academic and
consulting work aims to bridge behavioural insights with data-driven policy for more
resilient and sustainable construction and mobility systems.

Dr. Vineesha Chundi is a highly accomplished Civil Engineer with over 6 years of
experience in pavement engineering, road asset management, and transportation
systems. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor at NICMAR, Hyderabad, in
the School of Construction Technology.
Dr. Vineesha Chundi is a highly accomplished Civil Engineer with over 6 years of

systems. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor at NICMAR, Hyderabad, in
the School of Construction Technology. She served as a Senior Engineer (Asset
Management System) at SATRA Services and Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad. She
specialises in HDM-4 analysis, pavement evaluation, and life-cycle cost assessment
for national and international projects.
Her professional background includes significant contributions to road asset
management systems (RAMS), HDM-4-based analyses, and pavement performance modelling
across India, Rwanda, Grenada, and Australia. She has extensive hands-on experience
with tools such as HDM-4, IITPAVE, KGPBACK, Kenpave, AutoCAD, and MATLAB, coupled
with a strong foundation in IRC and ASTM standards.

Dr. Suprabeet Datta is a transportation engineering researcher working as an
"Assistant Professor" in the school of construction and technology (SoCT)
specializing in traffic operations, driver behaviour, and AI-based modeling. He
previously worked as Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Guwahati, where he taught
postgraduate courses in Traffic Engineering and conducted research on drivers’
yielding behaviour at urban signalized intersections using UAV and naturalistic
driving data.

book chapters, and co-invented an Indian patent on foldable walkway pavement

risk modeling in the Indian foodgrains supply chain. He holds an M.E. in Industrial
Engineering and Management from SGSITS Indore and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
from SSGM College of Engineering, Shegaon.

Dr. Amrit Mishra brings with himself over 8 years of experience in the field of
marketing and copywriting coupled with a PhD in English Literature from The English
and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad.
Dr. Amrit Mishra brings with himself over 8 years of experience in the field of
marketing and copywriting coupled with a PhD in English Literature from The English
and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. He has worked with startups and
established organisations in technology, HR and education domains. He was part of
the zero to one journeys of organisations like Cognigix Learning, Mumbai, Clematis
Technologies, Hyderabad and BITS Design School, Mumbai. He has led global teams and
managed social media and corporate communication for various organisations over the
years. His experience spans public relations, brand management, product launch and
positioning and crisis communications.
Currently, he teaches at NICMAR University of Construction Studies (NUCS), Hyderabad
as an Assistant Professor of Business Communication at the School of Project
Management. He has published 11 research papers with reputed international and
national publishers notable among whom are Taylor and Francis and Louisiana State
University, USA. He has presented his work on existentialism, caste and disability
at over 20 venues across India, USA, Bhutan and Turkey. He also has three sets of

from MNIT Jaipur. He has over 14 years of professional experience across industry
and academia, including 12 years of teaching and 2 years of industrial experience in
project engineering, commissioning, and mechanical erection.
Dr. Virendra Sharma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s
degree in Thermal and Design Engineering, and a PhD in Building Energy Efficiency
from MNIT Jaipur. He has over 14 years of professional experience across industry

include thermal comfort, indoor environmental quality, passive cooling strategies,
clean energy systems, net-zero buildings, and human productivity in built

Dr. Uday Boddepalli is an Assistant Professor at NICMAR University of Construction
Studies, Hyderabad. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology
Guwahati, where he specialized in 3D printing of foam concrete.
Dr. Uday Boddepalli is an Assistant Professor at NICMAR University of Construction
Studies, Hyderabad. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology
Guwahati, where he specialized in 3D printing of foam concrete. During his doctoral
studies, he was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship. He
later served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Bombay, working on the rheology of 3D
concrete printing. Before pursuing his PhD, he worked as a Project Officer at IIT
Madras and holds a master’s degree in Construction Technology and Management from
NIT Warangal.
Dr. Uday has significant experience in 3D concrete printing, rheology of
cementitious materials, and construction materials. His teaching experience includes
delivering guest lectures to undergraduate students at Assam Engineering College and
serving as a teaching assistant for various concrete-related courses at both IIT
Guwahati and IIT Bombay. He also contributed as a teaching assistant for three years
to the NPTEL course “Construction Methods and Equipment Management.”
His research interests include 3D printing of cementitious materials, sustainable
and advanced construction materials, and innovative construction technologies.

Dr. Purbayan Ghosh Mondal is an Assistant Professor in the School of Construction

Technology at NUCS Hyderabad. He received his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the

Dr. Sridhar Mothe is a graduate in Civil Engineering from Osmania University and
post-graduation from I.I.T. Madras. He obtained a degree in Law and did PG diploma
in ADR from NALSAR. He obtained Ph.D in Contract management. Selected to Central
Engineering Services (IES) in 1987 and associated with different projects.

in 2007 before joining private sector. He has around 35 years’ experience (20 years
in Govt. and 15 years in private).
Presently he is Professor of Practice in NICMAR University Hyderabad with expertise
in contract management. He was with NCC Ltd. heading Contracts& Claims of Building
division. Previously he was heading Contracts & Legal dept. of SEW Infrastructure
Ltd. He has good experience in handling claims, litigations and disputes in various
Arbitrations, DRBs and conciliations. Conversant with administration of varied forms
of Govt. contracts, CPWD and FIDIC model contracts.
He has presented 50 papers in national, international seminars and reputed journals.
He is a visiting faculty to numerous prestigious academic institutes and member in
Board of Studies.
He is author of book titled “Infrastructure Contracts and Management “published by
Asia Law House. (Second Edition 2024).
Awards: He was awarded “Engineer of the Year 2022” by Telangana Govt. & Institution
of Engineers. He received “Vishwa Karma Award” for 2023 by Construction Industry
Development Council for contribution in construction education, training.
