Semester 1

Commence your journey with a fundamental understanding of Management and Analytics. This semester consists of seven core subjects and one MOOC course.

Semester 2

In Semester 2, you enhance your knowledge on topics related to business analytics by studying 7 core subjects and 2 program electives. Conclude this semester with an industry-relevant internship to execute the knowledge you gained so far.

Semester 3

Get a detailed understanding of the application of business analytics in different areas of management, along with learning more analytical tools. This semester also consists of three core papers, two program electives, two domain electives, and three general electives.

Semester 4

In semester 4, you will focus on enhancing your knowledge and application of business analytics in the domain you’ve chosen. This semester also consists of two program electives and three domain electives.

  • Statistics for Business Analytics

    This course teaches students how to use different forms of analytics to uncover relationships in data and make evidence-based decisions.

  • Managerial Economics

    The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of the concepts and techniques of micro economics and assist in managerial decision making.

  • Managerial Accounting

    This course develops students’ understanding of the fundamental aspects of financial statements, analysis and interpretation, and aims to help them identify and analyze the results of business operations and assist in planning, management and control.

  • Data Warehousing & Mining

    This course develops students’ understanding of data & knowledge extraction, classification, analysis, and prediction so as to guide businesses in taking the right decisions.

  • Organisation Behaviour

    The students get an understanding about various job elements like behaviour, attitude, commitment, satisfaction and performance. Organisation Behaviour aims to understand why people behave as they do and teaches to predict future employee behaviour.

  • Marketing Management

    This course develops students’ understanding of the fundamental concepts of marketing and how to reach the target audience so as to acquire, keep, and grow customers successfully.

  • Visual Analytics Using Python & Tableau

  • Database Management & SQL

    This course introduces students to languages, applications, and programming used for the design and maintenance of business databases that includes SQL.

Our leader

Dr. Ammani P, Program Director, MBA BA

A senior Associate Professor at NICMAR, Hyderabad, Dr. Ammani is an ardent teacher, researcher, and speaker. She holds a doctoral degree in management, and has done her post graduation in Management and Mathematics. Her teaching, consulting, and research interests include marketing, entrepreneurship, strategy, international business, and marketing research. With over three decades of experience, she has shaped the lives of many youngsters in reaching their goals. She always takes pride in the success of her students and inculcates moral and ethical values in them apart from subject knowledge. In recognition of her services to the student community, she was awarded “Best Professor in Marketing” by ICBM-AMP Academic Excellence Award Team and “Distinguished Teacher in Management” by MTC Global.

She has published over 35 papers in various national and international journals of repute like Emerald publishers, and presented papers at national and international conferences. She is also a recognised Ph.D. supervisor of Osmania University & Career Point University, where she guided five students. She is regularly invited as a speaker at many institutions, is a board member of a couple of colleges, an honorary advisory member at Associated Engineering Services and Grammi Solutions, and has also handled a few private consultancy projects.

Admission and Degree Requirements

  • The program is for candidates who have passed graduation from any stream or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% (50% for candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PwD category).
  • Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible for the program. Having a Mathematics/Statistics background at Class XII or above is an added advantage.
  • Admission criteria for MBA-BA includes a performance in Written Test (CUET PG/ AIMA MAT/ICET/NICMAR UG NCAT), Personal Interview (PI), and academic performance in graduation.

  • Is there any compulsory subject I need to take in graduation to be eligible for MBA BA?

    Absolutely not! Students from any stream and with any choice of subjects can apply for MBA BA. Students from Btech, BA, B.Sc., BBA, etc. can also apply for this program.The program’s courses are taught from the foundation level and from the perspective of a managerial requirement. So, as long as you have passed graduation with 55%, you’re good to go.
