Leadership Talk
The School of Energy and Environment (SoEE) was established in 2023 under
NICMAR University with a clear vision: to develop future-ready professionals
equipped to tackle demanding environmental and energy challenges. Our mission
is rooted in the pursuit of a sustainable and resilient future, and we are committed
to serving a wide array of stakeholders through academic excellence, innovation,
and impactful engagement.
Sustainability is the core of everything we do. Our programmes are designed in
such a way that they go beyond conventional academic boundaries. They have
deep understanding of real-world challenges and driven by the UN Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs). In both the programmes i.e. MBA in Environmental
Sustainability (MBA-ENS) and Sustainable Energy Management (MBA-SEM),
our students gained interdisciplinary knowledge, critical thinking, and leadership
skills to create impactful and scalable solutions. Our curriculum is dynamic and
forward-looking, encompassing contemporary topics in areas of energy,
environment and management Curriculum address key sustainability
requirements, ensuring our graduates are prepared to contribute meaningfully
across sectors and geographies.
We are proud to share that our inaugural batch of 2023-2025 has achieved 100%
placements. This is endorsement of our pedagogy, industry oriented, and the
passion of our students. It reflects the readiness of our students to step into
leadership roles where they can drive sustainability transformations across
sectors.
We emphasize experiential learning, industry engagement, and hands-on
projects. Through strategic collaborations with government bodies, private sector
leaders, and local communities, our students work on live projects that generate
real impact. Our students work on climate resilience, renewable energy
integration and circular economy solutions.
Our faculty comprises of academicians, industry experts, and practitioners, bring
a wealth of knowledge with them. The faculty play a pivotal role in shaping the
students in adaptive, ethical, and visionary professionals. Learning at our school
is not confined to classrooms but students are engaged in immersions, research,
internships, and community outreach initiatives which build both competence
and character. We are cultivating a community of change-makers who are
capable of driving the green transition across energy, infrastructure, policy,
finance, and more.
As we move forward, we remain committed to innovation, inclusivity, and
collaboration. We have just getting started and the journey ahead holds enormous
potential.
